Einar drives Speira with a strong focus on profitability, workforce engagement and sustainability. He develops strategies that ensures the company´s long-term margin robustness, involvement of employees and its commitment to environmental stewardship. Einar worked as a corporate lawyer, a management consultant in McKinsey and held various management positions in Norsk Hydro before becoming CEO of Speira at its inception. He holds a Master of Law degree from Columbia University in New York and a Cand Jur from the University of Oslo.

Rolf LindbäckChief Financial Officer

As Speira´s Chief Financial Officer, Rolf is responsible for the Finance and IT organizations. He's constantly chasing opportunities to improve the scorecard by leveraging a unique platform where sustainability and profitability go hand in hand. He has a MSc in Communication Systems from the Swiss Federal Insitute of Technology (EPFL).

Dr. Pascal WagnerHead of BU Automotive

Pascal drives innovation, forges strategic partnerships and leads the integration of aluminium in electric vehicles. He has many years of experience in the aluminium industry, especially in the automotive area. He holds a degree in metallurgy and a PhD in metallurgy and metal physics from RWTH Aachen University.

Alexander DörselHead of BU Norway and Business Development

Alexander is responsible for our four recycling and rolling plants in Norway. He drives innovation and commercial development at the crosssection of growth and sustainability. He holds law degrees and a master's degree in Business Administration and Management from ESCP Business School.

Boris KurthHead of BU Can & Recycling

Leveraging his extensive experience in aluminum recycling, Boris is driving the company's recycling transformation with inventive strategies to enhance recyclability of beverage cans, aligning Speira with a responsible and forward-thinking approach. He holds a degree in economics from Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.

Ralf KöringHead of BU Recycling Services

Ralf leads initiatives to optimize the recycling process and enhance material recovery. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in process engineering from RWTH Aachen University.

Stefan Schulze SchweringHead of Foil and Litography

Stefan drives innovation and strategic projects to keep the company at the forefront of developments in key segments such as battery applications and sustainable packaging. He holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in Economics. Prior to joining Speira, Stefan worked at McKinsey & Company, consulting clients in the Global Energy and Materials practice.

Volker BacksHead of Public Affairs, Energy, Trade & Managing Director

Volker navigates the regulatory environment, advocates industrial transformation and sustainable energy policy. He promotes the principles of the circular economy and a fair trade policy. As a representative of Speira, he is committed to this publicly and in trade associations.

Paul GrziwaHead of Supply Chain

Paul drives the end-to-end optimization of our value chain while being responsible for Metal Planning as well as Procurement of Metal, Scrap and Energy. His focus lies on the optimized flow of metal with a strong emphasis on Speira's cost and sustainability targets. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.

Katharina HagenkötterHead of Human Resources

Katharina fosters a positive workplace culture and promotes the well-being and growth of our workforce through effective and sustainable HR strategies. She holds a degree in economics from Ruhr-University Bochum and gained a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from FernUniversität Hagen.

Moritz emphasizes Speira´s commitment to “close the loop” initiatives, highlights recycling efforts and promotes sustainable practices in messaging to align with circular economy principles. He gained an Executive Master of Business Administration at the University of Amsterdam.

Reinhild SchmidtHead of Strategic Operations

Reinhild develops strategies to integrate circular economy principles into operations, foster innovation and solidifies Speira´s commitment to sustainable practices. Reinhild held various management positions in Speira with focus on operations and supply chain before stepping into her current role. She holds a degree in business administration from Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.
