ORBIS (Latin for "circle") is our label for particularly sustainably produced aluminium products. The concise name stands for maximum transparency: ORBIS products consist of at least 75% external scrap. Products with up to 95% are also available.
By using recycled materials, we reduce energy consumption on a large scale without compromising on quality.

Milestone on the way to net zero
Our aim is to harness the fascinating possibilities of aluminium as a material for our customers in a low-emission and resource-saving way. To achieve this, we are continuously reducing the CO2 footprint of our rolled products - for example through the responsible procurement of raw materials and the increasing use of scrap.
ORBIS marks a milestone on this path. High quality, at least 75% recycled content, an outstandingly low carbon footprint, independent certification: this brings us a big step closer to our goal of being the industry benchmark in terms of sustainability by 2030.
