Conditional approval for acquisition of Real Alloy Europe

Grevenbroich, October 20, 2022: Speira has received approval from the European Commission to acquire Real Alloy Europe. The approval is conditional on full compliance with commitments offered by KPS and Speira.

Speira has committed to divest a standalone business consisting of Real Alloy’s facilities in Sainte-Menehould, France, and Swansea, United Kingdom.

“This is an important milestone on our path to further decarbonize our products. The acquisition will enhance our ability to utilize recycled metal in our production and deliver high-quality, low carbon rolled aluminium products to our customers,” says Einar Glomnes, CEO of Speira. “I want to thank the European Commission for the approval and the trustful cooperation throughout the process.”
